UFC Fight Night: Gustafsson Vs. Johnson To Be Aired In Sweden

 

London, UK – UFC today announced that the most anticipated Swedish sporting event in recent history, UFC FIGHT NIGHT™: GUSTAFSSON vs. JOHNSON ,due to take place on Saturday January 24th in Stockholm, will be broadcast on Swedish premium Pay-TV C More and their streaming service for sports content C Sports
CMore, who have had a successful longstanding relationship with UFC and continue to support the growth of the sport within Sweden, will broadcast the event on their pay-TV platforms. 
Swedish sporting superstar Alexander “The Mauler” Gustafsson will take on artist Anthony “Rumble” Johnson as the headline event on a card full of exciting bouts. The outcome of the fight is significant to the future of the Mauler as the winner could fight for the Light Heavyweight title, thus making this event all the more significant for Swedish fans.
But before Gustafsson can be granted a second shot at the belt, he must first get through knockout artist and currently ranked #3 light heavyweight Johnson, at the Tele2 Arena in what will be the UFC’s second largest event in it’s history.
UFC Chief Global Brand Officer Garry Cook said: “We’re pleased to have the support of our friends at CMore, they are an important channel with huge influence within Sweden and will bring this fight to those who unfortunately could not get a ticket to this event, via their paid for TV platform.”

The event will be broadcast live on FOX at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, with Prelims starting at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT on FOX Sports 1.
All bouts are subject to final approval from the Swedish MMA Federation. All bouts live and subject to change.
