Six bouts added to UFC 214 card in Anaheim

Before UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier and former titleholder Jon Jones resume their rivalry in the main event of UFC 214 on July 29, a host of contenders, veterans and rising stars will take to the Octagon in six bouts made official on Wednesday.

In an explosive showdown that could shake up the upper reaches of the featherweight division, the No. 5-ranked "Korean Zombie," Chan Sung Jung, takes on No. 3-ranked Ricardo "The Bully" Lamas.

"Explosive" is also a good term to describe the meeting between No. 8-ranked bantamweight contender Aljamain Sterling and former world champion Renan Barao, who is making his return to the 135-pound weight class he once ruled.

A strawweight bout will see Hawaii's Kailin Curran battle the returning Alexandra Albu, and in lightweight action, veterans Joshua Burkman and Drew Dober square off.

In a heavyweight matchup, Dmitrii “The Lifeguard” Smoliakov makes his third UFC start against Polish newcomer Adam Wieczorek, and the fists will be flying at 125 pounds when Eric "Showtime" Shelton battles unbeaten Jarred Brooks.

UFC 214 airs live on Pay-Per-View from Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Stay tuned to UFC.com for more fight card announcements.
